HEIAN JINGU SHRINE Banquet Hall
A Timeless History Embraced by the Sacred Shinen Garden
Located next to the Heian Jingu Shrine (established 1895), this historic hall is nestled within the Shinen Garden, a National Site of Scenic Beauty. From the windows, a serene pond-stroll garden with changing seasonal beauty unfolds. Experience the elegance and grace (Miyabi) of the ancient capital at this exclusive location.
Heian Jingu Shrine: The Iconic Stage for Your Vows
At the bustling, world-famous Heian Jingu Shrine, the “Gishiki-den” (Ceremony Hall) serves as the exclusive stage for your vows, reserved just for you and your loved ones. You can hold an authentic, formal Shinto ceremony in this non-public space, which is typically off-limits to visitors. Because this sacred location has existed here for centuries, your wedding day will become an irreplaceable moment that continues to weave family milestones and memories for generations to come.

A Breathtaking Location Overlooking the Scenic Shinen Garden
Your guests are welcomed by the expansive Seiho-ike Pond and the deep greenery of trees that span over 5,500 tsubo (approx. 4.4 acres) before them.
The Shinen Garden, designated a National Site of Scenic Beauty, continues to be praised for its beauty and has captivated visitors for over a century. The grounds are designed to block views of the modern world, allowing you to fully immerse your guests in the elegance and extraordinary atmosphere of Kyoto (Miyabi).

A Space Harmonizing with Nature, Welcoming All Guests
This is a space of tradition and prestige, embraced by magnificent nature. Being one of the few shrines with a dedicated reception hall on-site, it eliminates the need for guests to travel, ensuring peace of mind, especially for relatives.
The reception features two noble and elegant halls: “Seihou-den,” one of Kyoto’s largest spaces, blending Japanese and Western styles with a prestigious coffered ceiling and large windows overlooking the Shinen Garden, and “Geihin-den,” a luxurious space lavishly paved with granite marble.
